I caved and bought a Blue Point Himalayan from them last year. I bypassed the complimentry vet visit and took her to my own vet where we also did blood work. Sure enough she had a blood parasite that probably came from her mother. So even a $600 kitten can come with medical issues. I would never make that mistake again especially since our other 2 cats and a dog are all rescues. I would definately go with the SPCA. I’m know what pet store your are referring to. The West Van SPCA is right beside Park Royal actually, pay them a visit, they not only have great adult cats but they often have litters of kittens as well. People like the pet store at Park Royal need to realize what they're doing is wrong. They breed these kitties and sell them for hundreds of dollars while there's already unloved and lonely kitties you can have for next to free at any SPCA. Glad you do realize how much better it is to adopt from the SPCA.
