The very treasured item:

IMG_6153This is a post-it note written by Anna Wintour herself! I suppose it was written to some employee. The way it got to me was through Tommy’s brother Adam, who has a friend who works, or worked somewhere in the Vogue offices. I’m not sure of the details there, but Adam’s friend framed it and gave it to him. Luckily for me Adam is not the Anna fan that I am! It will be going on my wall!

Thanks Adam for one of the best things I’ve ever gotten!!

  2. [...] Jeanne and I go way back, at least 8 years! Which was when I started watching her on television. Fashion Television quickly became my favourite show and everything in my world stopped when it came on. It was just me, Jeanne and a whole lotta fashion. Saturday I met her for the first time, and this was a true celebrity sighting for me. (Where I work celebs seem to come in all the time, but have no effect whatsoever on me. Jeanne however, made me shake and fumble my words; “Jeanne, oh, Jeanne I uh I just admire you so much, oh my god you’re sooo nice! Eeeeee!” Something like that). I shall frame this picture and put it along side my Anna Wintour Post-It note.  [...]

I’m really enjoying your New York posts. The photos and the text are so good that it’s making me ache even more to get there! I need to plan a trip for next year… badly. But in the meantime, I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip!

    Cheers,
