I spent my Canada Day with my Mum. It was a glamorous day of shopping for a cat carrier, (pink), a watering can, (pink) and a frying pan. Though I did add the pink Kate Spade to this outfit and that made everything feel a little bit more fabulous. And of course I showed my patriotism with this ruffled red and white striped cardigan from H&M!

Wearing H&M striped cardi, white H&M tank, vintage denim cut offs, white leather Zara flats and Aldo elephant ring. Red nails by Cheeky Monkey Cosmetics.

Did you dress for Canada Day??

You are like a prettier and younger version Scarlett Johannson. I just discovered your blog and I love it. You are down to earth and incredibly stylish. Keep up the good work!

I love that sweater on you, and recognized it immediately as being from H&M. I thought it was so cute when I saw it in store but when I tried it on it just wasn’t for me.

The night before Canada Day I painted my nails a bright, candy pink – without thinking. I’m one of those people who has a hard time mixing pink and red without making myself look like a walking valentine. I just don’t have “the knack”! As a result the next day I couldn’t figure out what to wear that would show off my spirit! I ended up going with some cute red/white accessories (headband, scarf) that weren’t too close to the pink nails.

Can I ask where you found the Cheeky Monkey Nail polish?
